Olivia Wilde on Being Publicly Served Custody Papers: “There’s a Reason I Left” Jason Sudeikis

In a new piece of news, Livia Wilde is talking candidly about her split from ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis. In a new interview with Variety, the director opened up about an incident that happened at CinemaCon in April for his upcoming film Don’t Worry, being given custody papers while promoting Darling.

Wilde and Sudeikis, who dated from 2011 to 2020, share two children, eight-year-old Otis Sudeikis and five-year-old Daisy Sudeikis, at This Was My Workplace, Wilde said of the incident. Other workplaces would see this as an attack.

What was really troubling was a major breach in security, which is really scary that you had to jump to enter that room with multiple badges as well as special COVID tests that were to be done a few days back.

Give you the wristbands that were needed to access the event. This was something that required forethought. A source at the time said that Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would be delivered.

This will entirely depend on the process service company involved and it will never serve them in such an unreasonable manner. Wilde condemned the move, calling it a distraction from his actual work. I hated being like this because of the work of so many different people and the studio I was representing.

She said it was really vicious to try to sabotage but there was one thing I had to do that I left that relationship.

Wilde and Sudeikis have landed on a divided custody arrangement. Their babies go back and forth between them every week. She told Variety that she’s as present as possible when she’s with her kids. It’s my world that I make breakfast every morning, never miss bedtime, and take them to school myself.

On how the CinemaCon incident reflected on her family, Wilde said that only my children were the victims because they would have to see it and never know what happened. For me it was horrifying but the victims were 8 and 5 years old.

It’s really sad that I chose to be an actress, I voluntarily came into the limelight, but it’s not something that my kids asked for and it’s very painful when my kids get dragged into it.
